Agave Summer is an acoustic duo that plays a wide variety of great music that appeals to all tastes, just like a fine bottle of 100% Agave Tequila on a bright sunny day.

Agave Summer

Marc Levant

Marc although young at heart has been playing guitar for over 45 years. He started playing rock music and playing clubs around the Maryland area with the band JADE and played the Counter-Inaugural at the Warner Theater. In 1979, he moved to Florida and formed the band Loaded Roller - a local favorite at many clubs in the Orlando area.

Marc returned to Washington, DC and reformed Loaded Roller with all new musicians. Loaded Roller's rare brand of blues and boogie-woogie earned them a strong following in the local music scene, opening for great acts such as Duke Robbillard, Ronnie Earl, Clarence Gatemouth Brown, Saffire & Uppity Blues Women, Assasins, Jerry Portnoy, Rev. Billy Wertz, Rick Derringer and others.

In 2000 Marc formed the band Whatever and for the next 11 years played many clubs and events in the Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD and Northern VA area. In 2011, he formed Radio Beast a high energy party band who had a very strong following in the Maryland area.

In 2017 Marc relocated to South Florida and formed the country band Rustic Moonshine who plays around the area.

He was fortunate to meet Brad and they formed Agave Summer, an acoustic duo that plays a wide variety of music including rock, folk, blues and country.

Brad Schofield

Brad lived in Belize for 6 years and was fortunate enough to play in a local favorite reggae band called the Persuaders as well as in an acoustic duo called the Lost Reefers. After recently moving back to the States, he met Marc and together they formed the acoustic duo called Agave Summer. Cheers!!
